THREADS: The quality of thread is fundamental to the construction, durability, and strength of tactical gear. The Warrior chest rig exclusively uses high-quality US Mil Spec nylon threads imported from the United States, which are treated for both anti-UV and mildew resistance.
Two factors negatively impact the lifespan of equipment:
- Mildew is one of the most common factors in the deterioration of military kit, causing it to break down and ultimately leading to unacceptable failure.
- Sunlight has a detrimental effect on thread performance, causing it to deteriorate over time.
-
INFRARED PROPERTIES: All our MultiCam / Coyote fasteners, fabrics, plastic clips, threads, and webbing are treated at the source to provide minimum I.R. signature.
-
CLIPS: Warrior only uses the highest quality high-end ITW clips and accessories imported from the United States.
-
The Warrior chest rig is equipped with adjustable padded shoulder straps and a quick-release buckle system, ensuring a secure and comfortable fit for prolonged use.
-
The MCR MK1 Type 2 configuration features a detachable kangaroo magazine pouch, included in all MCR MK1 configurations.
-
The DFP kangaroo pouch is a detachable and scalable magazine pouch that can hold 3 x 5.56mm magazines or 2 x 7.62 x 51mm and/or 9mm magazines. Additionally, a small radio or various smaller items, such as bandages or a tourniquet, can be stored. Individual magazines are held in place by removable elastic sleeves secured with Velcro, allowing the user to configure a mission-specific and weapon-specific setup as needed.
-
MCR-MK1-Type 2 (Fully Loaded) includes the MCR base platform, a removable DFP Kangaroo magazine pouch (LC-DFP-KP5) flanked on both sides by slim laser-cut utility pouches (LC-SSVUP). A laser-cut Velcro drop-down utility pouch (LC-DDVUP) is then attached to the lower section of the chest rig. Finally, an additional large laser-cut slim horizontal utility pouch (LC-LSHUP) is positioned on the front of the kangaroo pouch to complete the configuration.
-
Loops: One Wrap Velcro loops are affixed to both sides of the shoulders to facilitate and organize the channeling of communication cables and hydration tubes, and are included as standard.
-
If the user wishes, the MCR can accommodate a variety of other pouches, such as side flaps for radios or additional magazine pouches that securely attach to the body via Velcro and are sold separately.
